Module IV, Research: Master's Thesis

The following list shows several proposal for your Master's Thesis. In each case the thesis should include at least the following topics: a literature research to document the state-of-the-art in the field, an overview of available software tools for total or partial solutions, an analysis and a design of a system/library for the task, an implementation of a prototype application.

  • Implementation of the Gathan curve reconstruction algorithm in C++ using CGAL.

  • Thinning of continous pixel sets.

  • Polygon approximation.

  • Closed contour computation of color shapes in images.
